Sreekrishnajayanthi Celebrations


The Birth Anniversary of Sreekrishna is celebrated by Balagokulam with pomp and pleasure taking out processions of people from all walks of life irrespective of caste, religion and politics, in cities and even remote villages. The general public of Kerala make the day of Sreekrishna Jayanthi as a day to rejoice and to reflect various facets of activities of Lord Sreekrishna in protecting dharma and instilling confidence to the people around Him and to live and fight for justice. Thousands of children dressed as Sreekrishna and His subjects form part of these colorful processions. l Sreekrishnajayanthi processions in Kerala became a source of inspiration for other states also and this celebration has gained momentum in those places and encouraged to start Balagokulam units there. Even Gulf countries have followed suit in the recent years and enthusiastic parents there celebrate Sreekrishnajayanthi in the most befitting way setting example to others.

Worship of mother cow (Gopooja), Women Empowerment meet, family get-together, competitions in arts and music among children, planting of trees and such other programmes to motivate children and elders in many ways are organized along with Janmashtami celebrations.
 

Personality development classes and Workshops

 Besides the weekly classes, Balagokulam is conducting personality development classes, training camps of drama, painting, literature etc in different levels in various part of the sate. Also workshops are arranged for gardening, planting of tree, writing of Hand written magazine and other such related activities. Chaithramassakalari, Study tours, Interaction with gokulam units, interaction with famous personalities etc. are also organized for the development of children.

BALASNGAMAM (14-O8-2011)

Naranganam mandalam conducted a half day camp for the students above 5th standard on behalf of sreekrishna jayanthi.more than 180 students participated in this holy eve.the classes was based on yoga, personality developmentb and geetha classes. Many important personalities participated this function .the fuction was highlited with their presence.playback singer Shri Anu v sudev, Shri Haridas ,Shri prasannan, shri prasad and other famous personalities attended the eve.our rakshadikari shri thopil gppalakrishnan inougrated the function by lighting the lamp. food was provided to students after the function.and all the members of the balagokulam was well coparative and well cordinated with their active presence

kadammanitta shobha yathara

kadammanitta shobha yathara started from kadammanitta devi temple and passed through kadammanitta rishikesha temple. and passed to kallalil junction. at kallalil junction the shobha yathara meeted with the shobha yathara from kottapara sreemala devi temple and combined with it and both together as maha shobhayathara passed through streets and reached kadammanitta. 

  At kadammanitta prof: :vasudevan pilla inougrated the shobha yathara by passing the flag to bharathamba and there was a vote of thanks for the inougration after the shobhayathara passed to niravathu junction and came back to kadammanitta junction. and their conducted the'GOVINDA' all the cordinators of the eve participated
